Prenups.com North Carolina Partner - Elizabeth Williams

My passion for helping others drove me to law school and eventually my career in family law. My North Carolina legal practice has been focused primarily on family law issues, including equitable distribution, alimony, child support, child custody, prenuptial agreements, and postnuptial agreements, among other issues.

Throughout my career as a family law litigator, I began to feel a push to help clients avoid nasty divorces rather than meet them when it was already too late. This is what drove me to join Prenups.com as their exclusive North Carolina partner. My goal is to help couples minimize financial conflict throughout their marriages, not just have an exit strategy for divorce. As valedictorian of the University of North Carolina School of Law, clerk for The Honorable Judge Shedd of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and experienced family law litigator, I am well-equipped to work with couples toward a fair and equitable prenuptial agreement.

Outside of my legal practice, my time is spent with my husband and our three precious babies, doing barre, and being a room mom aficionado.
